If you'd like a copy, send Jung-Il an email along with a blank CD(s) and you too can analyze your data.
MDI Jade 8.5
State of the art x-ray diffraction phase-identification software, includes peak finding, peak profile analysis, crystallite size and strain analysis, unit cell determination, unit cell refinement.
PS... many many people have been complaining about the help file/manual on Jade. It's clearly not ideal for easy use, but here's a tip which can make it work for you (instead of the other way around).
1. Download the free program CutePDF... install it.
2. In Jade, hit the "F1" key on any help topic... now go to "File>Print Topic"
3. Choose CutePDF as your printer and print the file... save it as something you'll remember.
4. Open the new PDF file using Adobe Acrobat and search away!
(3 CD's) powder diffraction file database. You'll need this if you want to use Jade for phase identification.
We have the new 2007 version available which you will need. The old 2005 version will discontinue working very soon if it has not already. Email me for a copy.
